Get over yourself Tartine Bakery
$13.50 for a burnt turkey sandwich. That’s it; nothing else (I don’t count two baby carrots as anything). $6.25 for a chocolate hazelnut tart. AND the cashier gave me grief about substituting dijon mustard for the broccoli rabe pesto on my sandwich. Really?! Who wants broccoli rabe anything on a turkey sandwich?
Most expensive lunch in SF yet. Someone should tell them the recession is over and 200% markup is no longer justified. I won’t be coming back…
