You see… what’s great about Dave doing these surprise-I’m-performing-tonight-with-no-more-than-12-hours-warning shows is that it cuts out ticket brokers. No one likes a ticket broker. Even ticket brokers hate themselves. And he’s going to sell-out (update: he did. duh.), no matter what, so why not cut out the guy whom everyone hates?
It’s brilliant. Keeps ticket costs reasonably low. Win-win for everyone. Every time he did this at Cobb’s in San Francisco last year, I knew I never had a shot at going because of my work schedule… but I loved him for doing what he was doing.
Knock ‘em dead tonight, Dave.
