Sometimes you have a crummy day. Sometimes that crummy day involves terrible customers who perform mathematical tip calculations in their head incorrectly. Sometimes those terrible customers admittedly tell you they only have enough in their checking account to cover their meal when turning down an offer for dessert and in turn can’t tip you. Sometimes you take care of a family who run up a $60 tab with three small kids who make an emmeff’ing mess of the table and floor, only to tip you 12%.
And then you leave work and it’s crummy outside too, with a drizzly rain that exists just to annoy you further.
