After my gym workout today, I recorded my longest run since September when I ran 1.69 miles in California. It just doesn’t feel good to run anymore. The joint pain I feel in my surgically repaired knee is no joke. I have to keep thinking of it as progress though. I’m clearly not the runner I used to be, but I did dip back down under a 9 minute pace so that’s encouraging.
Will I ever get back to my normal 7:30 minute pace? Or the occasional 6:46 minute pace fluke race? I wish I knew the answer. I know it takes work, but the work I put in is just discouraging. What I do know: my running2win.com tracker is total weaksauce these days. So sad.
